Find bugs in one homepage.

Capture evidence, paste it into your AI coding agent, and compare the findings. This example is only a homepage—not a working checkout.

The complete prompt and schema are copied—not displayed here.

Exercise steps and examples

1 · Screenshot → AI coding agent

Copy the prompt, then hide this panel. Capture the homepage: Shift–⌘–4 on Mac or Win–Shift–S on Windows. Include the lower cards too.
Attach the screenshot and paste the prompt into your coding agent. Review its JSON bugs against the actual image.
Press Escape or “Show instructions” to return. For a fully clean capture, open homepage only.

2 · Console logs → AI coding agent

Open Chrome/Edge DevTools: ⌘–Option–J on Mac; Ctrl–Shift–J on Windows/Linux. Choose Console.
Clear it, keep all log levels visible, and reload. This fixture intentionally emits synthetic warnings and errors.
Select and copy relevant messages, or right-click → Save as. Paste or attach them with the same prompt.
Ask the agent to separate observed errors from inferred causes. Remove secrets from real-world logs.

3 · Network evidence → AI coding agent

Open DevTools → Network. Enable Preserve log, then reload. Select failed requests; inspect Headers, Response, and Timing.
Copy request URLs, status codes, responses, and timing. Alternatively export a sanitized HAR and attach it. Avoid exports “with sensitive data”; inspect and redact cookies, tokens, and personal data.
Paste that artifact with the prompt. Compare findings with the screenshot and console results.

Using CDP? Chrome DevTools Protocol is the automation interface, not a separate DevTools tab. With an approved browser tool, ask your agent to enable Network capture before reload and collect request, response, and loading-failure events. Never expose a remote-debugging port publicly.
